The Elusive Otter

At a certain point this year, greenery, dandelion leaves and seed heads, the turtle and water all became objects of my daily reflection. Observation and examination, without active participation in the world, are characteristic activities of this period. The quail is also an attentive and circumspect observer: it scrutinises the apparently trembling turtle and is surprised by its determined advance, without losing sight of the viewer enraptured by this small, huddled world.
