The increase of entropy and disorder is the most convincing evidence of the passage of time. Everything and everyone is born in the most 'orderly' state that will never repeat itself ever again. Thus the passage of time leaves not only dust and decay, but also disorder, life.

The classic design of an antique wallpaper absorbs the passage of time and is transformed. It loses its modularity to accommodate a new irregularity. It does not fade, rather it grows like a living thing, while its elements seem to restlessly struggle in an attempt to multiply in a space that is already becoming too tight. Tommaso Guerra
