I have been lucky to be involved in the restoration of works by the great masters of Italian painting. Over the years, my way of perceiving painting, of reading symbols and images, has changed; I give value not only to the fullness but also to the empty spaces and to those parts of the works that are considered "outlines" of the figures and main subjects.
