Blacksmithery subdues iron in geometric shapes. It is a sort of human power over nature. In the north of Portugal, I was inspired by the charming encounter of inhabited places with iron gates, balconies, and windows overcome by deep nature. Deserted houses surrounded by brush, plants, dust, and leaves reminded me of a place where people lived, dreamed. Iron returns to nature. Textures and colors are created naturally.

Mixed feelings have filled my soul. Light grief, fleeting boredom on rainy summer days. Maria Gomez Garcia
