Entering grandma's house felt like being in a garden. Plants of all kinds were blooming in every corner, timeless. I remember some of them as small, growing together with me, looking for space beyond the ceiling, intertwining with neighbouring plants, pushing towards the light. I admired and followed the play of shadows and reflections on the doors, tracing it with my finger. My hope is to be a scion of that great woman, who with such transparency and simplicity, taught me the complexity of life and things. Giovanni Pesce
